Getting started

The home page, the navigation and the sample content: where to find what.

The home page

The home page shows what matters right now:

To do. Things that are waiting for you: photos without a reliable date, faces without a name, chapters that are still drafts, the Trash and your storage. Each row takes you straight to the right place.

Look back. Photos from a week, a month or a year ago.

Latest photos. What you uploaded most recently.

Last 7 days. Uploads, new comments, new subscribers and views of your shared links.

Sample content

As long as your library is empty, the home page offers to load sample content: 9 photos, an album and a small trip to try things out. They do not count towards your storage.

You can remove them at any time from the home page. They are deleted immediately and permanently, without a detour through the Trash. Your own photos and videos are not affected.

In the sidebar you find Home, Photos, Albums, Trips, Map, Favourites, People and Tags. At the top there are the search, the bell for notifications and your account menu with Profile, Shared, Downloads, Duplicates, Trash and Settings. You can read more under Account menu.

How this works

Next to many page titles there is a question mark. It replays the short tour of that page: a few steps that show what you can do here. You can end it at any time with Escape.
