Deleting can be undone
When you delete photos or videos, we do not ask. They move to the Trash and can be restored there for 30 days. Right after deleting, the message at the bottom offers "Undo".
What happens in the Trash
A photo in the Trash disappears immediately from albums, chapters, tags, people and all shared links. If you restore it, it comes back to all of them.
Storage
Photos and videos in the Trash keep counting towards your storage until they are permanently deleted. So when your storage is full, emptying the Trash helps.
Deleting permanently
In the Trash you can permanently delete single photos or everything at once. This is the only step where we ask for confirmation, because there is no way back afterwards.
Emptying automatically
After 30 days we tidy up the Trash by ourselves. The home page shows you when the next photo will be permanently deleted.
